MY 1st GIVE AWAY!

I am so excited to have my 1st giveaway! All you need to do is to provide a funny caption for this cartoon and the funniest caption as judged by my very own McDreamy wins! Tell all your friends! McDreamy will judge on Friday and I'll post the winner at midnight. The funniest caption will win a handmade toggle bracelet which I will send out first thing Saturday morning with hopes it will arrive to the winner in time for Halloween. Have fun! Here is a picture of what you will win! Lonely keys, spooky skulls, sparkly candy corn and even a black spider.....I couldn't resist making one for myself too! I'm going to wear it everyday until Halloween! I had a more than usual, amazing day today. The highlight of my day was a three hour toggle fest with a groovy bunch of god looking gals (see below!). Saucy and I have been planning this day for a while now and boy was she prepared! Four words....hand made candy corn! They are magical! Saucy is the most creative gal I know. I was so happy the Fan was there too, bearing gifts for the Sprout of course, she is wise and listens with her heart-reminds me of Yoda in ways.
The Sprout was happy the Frenemie was there he was cuddled and kissed non stop! Yoda got his share of cuddles too, boy is that Grandpa quick with a napkin! The Sprout has an an auntie that loves him so much she saw Sprout's jeep parked outside Yoda's restaurant and came in just to see him! WoW! This is one loved baby!
Thanks Saucy and girls, I had a really great time and can't wait for Christmas toggle time!

Halloween Mice Come to Visit!

Thanks to cousin Saucy we now have mice at our house too! I am so happy to have these little friends visit us for Halloween! I put them up late tonight and can't wait to see Gretel's expression as she spies them tomorrow morning!

Cousin Saucy said hers were from the Martha Collection and might be a little more rat-ish and professional-ish. I just made mine out of black foam from Michael's (I didn't use paper because I know these little cuties will get "petted" a fair amount by the kids) and it cost me less than $3. I know 2 boys in Manitoba who would just love to have these little darlings to surprise them!

By the way Saucy McDreamy allowed me to quickly run into Micheal's today while uttering, "I bet Saucy NEVER makes Veto go into Micheal's!" I made sure he was well watered and fed (thanks to Yoda's restaurant) where did I go wrong Saucy......HELP!

IT'S HERE! IT'S HERE! IT'S HERE!

Look what was on my doorstep today! My Zombie Jar from my swap partner arrived today! http://oliverrain.blogspot.com/ I can't show you what it looks like until the big reveal on the 25th but I couldn't resist showing you the clever packaging!

Oooo! How spooky! Read the fine print!

That Oliver Rain is one creative (and environmentally conscious!) Gal!

What's this? A little something extra for Sweet Sassy........!

Wow! What a treat! I can't wait to show everyone my swap! This was great fun! This swapping business was so much fun, I can't wait until Saucy thinks up a new one!http://oliverrain.blogspot.com/

What Could It Be?

Bottle caps with holes.....

Pretty Pliers......

Tiny Tidbits....

More Tiny Tidbits....

Cousin Saucy and I are gathering supplies like squirrels gather nuts for the winter. I can't wait to show you the creations we will cook up this Sunday! Any brave guesses? I think I will make a special one for my first give away! Check back Monday to see what it will be!

My Little Turkey

Wheh! Turkey #2 gets a 10/10! Thanksgiving dinner for 10 was a snap thanks to the teamwork of my great family! Yoda came over early to watch the Sprout, The Frenemie picked up K and K and was tossed an apron as she walked in the door! Thanks Mom, er..... I mean Frenemie! Supper was a great success despite the fact that McDreamy and I accidentally bought a "utility" bird! OOpps. Turns out neither of us read small print very well! We never quite figured out why our bird was separated from the flock, he seemed to have all the parts he should have and was just as tasty. A good lesson learned! Mc Dreamy potato mashed away and we bar-b-qued the corn on the cob to be like the Pilgrims this year (or because Sassy ran out of pots and it was too late to run to Winners to get a new one!) and it was delicious! Definitely a do again! After gobbling up all the great grub my nifty niece jumped up and cleared ALL the dishes! Wow, what a treat! It was a magical supper, the Sprout was on his best behavior and looked dashing in his Thanksgiving shirt. What a great time!

I am thankful for so many things. This year I seem to have extra things to be thankful for like....
Family dinners... Nieces and nephews....

I am thankful Grandpa's...
And Nana's...of course Nana's, we would never forget the Nana!
Pretty things...Great, healthy food to eat... One extra special reason that I am thankful for everyday... My Little Turkey!
Happy 1st Thanksgiving Sprout!

Baby Boo's Party!

The Sprout and I would like to officially invite you all to a baby (and kids too!) Halloween party! This is your big chance to wear your Halloween costumes babies! There will be games, a special but temporary photo studio area, drinks and treats! Don't forget to RSVP, Hey, why not RSVP by making a comment on this blog !

Nana One and Nana Two

Nana One (otherwise known as the Frenemie) and Nana Two popped by for some pie tonight and a quick cuddle with the Sprout. Our visits are never long enough and I'm wishing Nana Two lived closer to us than silly old Edmonton. Goodness knows that Sassy would have more than enough projects to keep her and Grrr (Nana Two's Hubby) busy for a long long time! Grr is the hero who made Sassy her cupcake tower and flamingos for the Twist of Lime event...want to know a secret...Sassy loves those cute hot pink Flamingos just about as much as she loves McDreamy!

Here is a photo of the cupcake tower, it sure made for anamazing display...wow! Thanks again Grr and Nana Two!

Perfect Packaging!

And I puffed and I puffed and......

I bleeeeew the bag up!

I had a few minutes before hitting the gym to pack up Oliver Rain's Zombie Jar! I was terrified to attempt to send a glass jar in the mail until I found this!

I am not embarrassed at all to tell you I was at liquidation world twice in the same day and found this treasure for only 4o cents on a second walk through, it was a blue ticket item and half off of course! Well, it was just what I needed and seemed to work quite well for the Zombie jar.......time will tell! If it works my cousin Saucy and I will have to stock up for future swaps! It will have to wait until tomorrow to hit the mail though, The Sprout and I are off to get fit and then off to the dump with Yoda! Fun Fun! Yes, it is true, I am a jeep driving, trailer haulin' gal......I can't back up the trailer so great but I can drive with it just fine
