Today was back to school day!
Officially school started yesterday but for some reason my brain malfunctioned and I was certain TODAY was the first day.
We counted on the calendar.
I made a back to school count down game which we started 10 days ago.
I had the back pack ready packed with treats for the teachers and staff, indoor shoes and a change of clothing.
I just had the WRONG DAY!
On the positive side yesterday we had a great day celebrating the last day of holidays. We were actually at Denny's having a leisurely breakfast when the school called-I was having so much fun I didn't even check my messages until the evening!
A good lesson for Mommy! (I feel terrible!)
I am glad we have another year of pre-school- I need it!
