I stumbled across your blog several months ago and check in to see what is new. It had been a while and was saddened deeply to hear what your mom is going through. It brought tears to my eyes as you wrote how you need your mom. I lost my mom on my 36th birthday to lung cancer that had spread to throughout her body before we knew it was even there. We had a short 5 months from diagnoses to her passing. My only advice is to spend as much time with your family as you possibly can. Treasure all the moments, the happy moments as well as the not so happy moments.
My prayers are with you and your whole family as your mom battles this dreadful disease. She sounds like a very strong lady and with her family around her, her strength will only get stronger!
