Vegas with Baby!

A baby in Vegas? Are you crazy? Even Sassy herself thought she was going a little nutty taking a baby to such a place but the little Sprout is just too cute to leave behind!

Well, there should be a Lonely Planet Las Vegas book For Babies and Sassy could write it! The Sprout had a fantastic time visiting his 4 th state in 8 months. Here are a few highlights baby style...

Airplane Rides
(the Sprout flys very well, a fellow flyer commented upon arriving in Saskatoon customs at 11:30 pm ..."there was a baby on our plane?!" Yup, he's that good

Hotel Room Photo Shoots
( our room was amazing, 2 bathrooms, his and hers closets, a table that seated 14, huge bar area, lime green chaise lounge, 18 foot ceilings, 16 foot windows, pillars, extra deep tub...)

Eating only avocados, bananas, ribs and strawberries because I refused to eat baby food out of a jar the whole trip.

The Green Valley Ranch was just off of the strip and was the perfect hotel for us. We shopped at Anthropologie which was right out our front doors in The District, a great outdoor shopping area and perfect to walk and snack and lunch with a stroller. We also hit Primm so Sassy could treat herself to a Juicy purse, 2 pairs of new sketcher sandals and some CO Bigelow lip shine. The Sprout is all set for summer now, he just loves Carter's, a store we don't have in Canada. Sassy picked up a pile of new sleepers (this 8 month old fits nicely into the 18th month old size right now!) and a couple of pairs of swim trunks, shorts and pants for summer time. On the way to the airport that wonderful McDreamy found Sassy a NEW mall which has a good stock of the lemon lip creame from CO Bigelow. Thanks for the 411 on that one Saucy.......I picked up an extra for you so you don't have to steal The Fan's! I really didn't want to leave Vegas this trip, McDreamy was a little worried I wouldn't get on the plane. That smart guy knew just how to get a smile on my face as we flew over snowy Saskatchewan, 3 sweet words..........Phoenix in March!

Sounds like my kind of trip. Shopping, shopping, and more shopping. Lizzie and Javier hate that I love to shop. I have to investigate the CO Bigelow. Sprout is so yummy, sand and all.

Looks like lots of warm fun! Looking forward to soup!! CJ will be joining us for soup before school, hope that's okay. When I was writing it on the calendar she wondered if she could have lunch with the ladies b/c "Sassy is so nice"

Nice photos - esp nice to see The Sprout! Did you go to The Rainforest Cafe?? The monkeys & elephants would either scare The Sprout..OR he would be entranced. That place is an either/or for kids, methinks. xoxo the fan

I lost the comment I just wrote you, so this is going to have to be a quicky. Love that Sprout in his sand heaven. He is soooooo darn cute!! Lovely hotel suite! Glad you had time to shop. I just googled your lip gloss and they carry at our Body and Bath. But I ordered some online anyway... Original Mentha Lip Shine, Ultra Mentha Lip Shine, Spearmint Mentha Lip Shine, Cinnamint Mentha Lip Shine, Pink Mint Mentha Lip Tint and Mentha Lip Buffer. They had them in mini sizes so I can try them and see how I like them. I'm using Bobbi Brown gloss at the moment and June Jacobs at night.

Phoenix in March?? You'll have to have lunch with my Wendy. You'd have a great time with her. Phoenix is a shoppers dream!!

Must run and take a quick nap before dinner. My eyes burn. lots of digital scrapping done today.
Hugs,
Joni

We leave Jamaica tomorrow... does The Sprout need me to bring him some sand for when he gets the munchies?

I just had to say... when my two boys were lil' babes like your precious one, We were always given a hard time (by a few friends) about never leaving our boys behind when we went on trips. Well, they're grown now... When we look back and reflect on ALL those ventures it's without an ounce of regret. We created forever memories with them that we'll always cherish!

Sweet Wishes
