Hi there,

I hope this message finds you well. I am the tour manager for Nejeed Kassam's book, High on Life: Stories of Hope, Change, and Leadership. The press release below explains the project in more detail but two things I would like to emphasize are that 1. This book was written for youth by youth and 2. All proceeds from the book go to a charity providing youth around the world with opportunities to make a difference in their local and global communities.

The tour has begun in Vancouver and we will be travelling across the country promoting the book and stirring discussion about change and leadership. Please, please, please, post the message below on your blog and please come to the events in Edmonton.

High on Life: Stories of Hope, Change, and Leadership.

An inspirational book to spark action with a foreword by Jean Chrétien…

24 year-old Nejeed Kassam has compiled a collection of 17 stories about young inspirational people effecting big changes in the world and in themselves. The best authors write about what they know, and Nejeed Kassam certainly knows about hope, change and leadership.

Nejeed Kassam is a writer, a speaker, and an aspiring philanthropist. He’s the founder of the international NGOs End Poverty Now and Networks for Change. He holds a Bachelors of Arts (Hons) from McGill University, and currently attends law school at Osgoode Hall in Toronto, Canada. The fact that the foreword of his book High On Life is written by former Prime Minister, Jean Chrétien is only evidence of his unwavering ambition. Nejeed Kassam also puts his money where his mouth is: 100% of the proceeds from the book are going to the non-profit organization, Networks for Change.

High On Life is an inspiring book based on the narratives of young leaders from four continents concerning the beauty and challenges of our world. The ultimate goal is to bring people together in action towards change. The book launches in Vancouver with a tour kick off on August 6, 2010.
