I had great fun today learning how to use the new bar-b que. We really are going to get a lot of use out of it. Sunday we bar- b- qued ribs, Monday was hot dogs and today we had pizza! I found a great and easy recipe for a yummy crust that won Mc Dreamy over.
- Crust -
2 cups flour
1tbs yeast
1/4 tsp salt
1tbs sugar
2/3 cup plus 2tbs water
mix 1 cup of flour and all the other ingredients
slowly add remaining flour and make into ball
cover and let rise for 10-15 minutes
Brush with olive oil and cook like a regular crust but on the bar-b-que, flip it to get those great grill marks!
Remove when 3/4 cooked to add toppings then put back on the bar-b-que
Best served with friends and family!

McDreamy is drooling - is it over the pizza or you?? hee hee! Why did you remove the photo of the two of you leaving on your First Date???I was lovin' it?!? It took me back to OUR 'First Date' many years ago..all we did was talk about the baby!! It must be a Universal Truth, huh?? I was also ponderin' the time your Mom & Dad left YOU with ME and went on their big date - to Banff! Good times! xoxo the fan
crimeny!! your photo of the big date is back..must be poltergeist...it had mysteriously disappeared earlier!
just when I was enjoying it so much! love, Mg
The pizza looks yummy! How much pizza does your recipe make?
The crust recipe is enough for 1 medium crust. I just had a piece cold for a "left-over lunch" and it was fantastic cold too!
Thanks for the info. I can't wait to try it. I just noticed though, that the salt doesn't say tbs or tsp...
Thanks for the catch! All fixxed now. This is why my brother is the chef and I am the......chef in training!
I am trying it out today! I hope mine turns out as good as yours looks! You seem to be very creative (the muffins, cupcakes, cookies and treats), so I'm sure you will be an excellent "chef"!! By the way, your baby is adorable. Although I have entertained the idea of blogging, I don't have a blog, but enjoy reading yours as well as others. Thanks again for the info.
