My Little Turkey

Wheh! Turkey #2 gets a 10/10! Thanksgiving dinner for 10 was a snap thanks to the teamwork of my great family! Yoda came over early to watch the Sprout, The Frenemie picked up K and K and was tossed an apron as she walked in the door! Thanks Mom, er..... I mean Frenemie! Supper was a great success despite the fact that McDreamy and I accidentally bought a "utility" bird! OOpps. Turns out neither of us read small print very well! We never quite figured out why our bird was separated from the flock, he seemed to have all the parts he should have and was just as tasty. A good lesson learned! Mc Dreamy potato mashed away and we bar-b-qued the corn on the cob to be like the Pilgrims this year (or because Sassy ran out of pots and it was too late to run to Winners to get a new one!) and it was delicious! Definitely a do again! After gobbling up all the great grub my nifty niece jumped up and cleared ALL the dishes! Wow, what a treat! It was a magical supper, the Sprout was on his best behavior and looked dashing in his Thanksgiving shirt. What a great time!

I am thankful for so many things. This year I seem to have extra things to be thankful for like....
Family dinners... Nieces and nephews....

I am thankful Grandpa's...
And Nana's...of course Nana's, we would never forget the Nana!
Pretty things...Great, healthy food to eat... One extra special reason that I am thankful for everyday... My Little Turkey!
Happy 1st Thanksgiving Sprout!

Little Turkey looks like he konked out after eating too much of your utility bird.

I used to work at a grocery store and was told by the meat manager once that some utility birds are designated so simply because of their size, depending on what packing plant they come from! That may have been the only "problem"... we've started buying fresh from Prairie Meats! Love those birds.

Great job Frenemie, saying your post 3 times really gets the point across! #1 - I hope it is the Sprout you are referring to as being spoiled. Poor Sweet Sassy has been working herself to the bone, except when at Disney World, or California, or shopping, or eating free grilled cheeses and cokes at the family restaurant (hmm, maybe I need a part time job...)#2 If you show up this Sunday for the party you won't find us home...we will be co-hosting a toggle bracelet making workshop at Yoda's restaurant with Saucy and Loopy. Niece K and I were hoping you'd pick her up 11:45 ish and join us. The baby Boo 's party is Sunday the 26th-Sprout sure hopes you can be there!

Oh Yeah, the blonde....She is the Sprouts favorite waitress right now. She's very sweet, skinny, happy, nice and cute but much, much too old for the Sprout. Don't get excited Mc Dreamy, she's much, much too young for you!
